Valuedial international calling card terms & conditions

Please read these terms & conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and the terms governing your use of Valuedial’s international calling cards.

These terms & conditions set out the terms under which Valuedial provides the ability to make calls using their international calling card.

  1. 1. What are Valuedial calling cards?

    Valuedial calling cards are pre-paid phone cards which enable you to make national and international phone calls from any landline, mobile phone and payphone. (Please note that payphones incur a separate charge)

    Valuedial calling cards are available in £3, £5 & £10 values.

    Valuedial calling cards have no cash value and is non-refundable or exchangeable.

  2. 2. Call rates

    All calls using a Valuedial calling card are billed in one-minute increments, rounded up to the nearest minute.

    Each time you use your Valuedial calling card the balance will be reduced by the call rates stated on the valuedial site. There are no other hidden charges other than 0800 access numbers and BT Payphones, as listed below in section 2.3 & 2.4.

    Calls using the 0800 Freephone access number will have a 1p/min surcharge

    Calls using a BT payphone will have a 20p/min surcharge.

    We will not charge you for calling our geographic access numbers (such as 0203 1290 111). However, you may incur charges from your phone/mobile service provider so please contact them to confirm what you are paying for these calls.

    Call rates are subject to change at any time.

    Please check the call rates for the most up to date rates before you making a call as you will be charged at the then current rates listed on the site at the time you make your call. We endeavour to keep rates at a consistent price and be competitive within the calling card market and will only change when it is completely necessary.

    All call rates include VAT.

  3. 3. Availability and quality of service

    Valuedial uses the best carriers from around the world to give you superior call quality, but we cannot guarantee that the Valuedial calling card will always be without faults. Some things are out of our control, Valuedial are dependent on network operators from all around the world and the services provided by these operators can affect the service from time to time that will be out of our control.

  4. 4. Validity period

    Your Valuedial calling card is valid for a period of 365 days from activation. The card can be used anytime during this period. After the 365-day period the card will become inactive and will not be able to use the Valuedial service.

    The validity period will only be extended when another Valuedial calling card has been used to top up the existing card. The validity period will then be 365 days from the activation date of the second card. This can be done as many times as needed, there is no limits to the amount of times you can top up your card and extend the validity period.

  5. 5. Refunds

    If your Valuedial calling card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed you will lose any remaining credit on the calling card.

    If your Valuedial calling card is used in an unauthorised manner, we will terminate the card and no refund will be issued.

    After the validity period expires no refund of the remaining balance will be made.

  6. 6. Our responsibility

    Nothing in these terms & conditions affects your statutory rights. For more information on your statutory rights you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office.

  7. 7. Your responsibility

    You must not use your Valuedial calling card for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, to make any communication which is, or is intended to be, malicious, fraudulent or hoax (including to the emergency services) or in any way which may affect the operation of the Valuedial calling card.

    If you misuse the Valuedial calling card as stated in section 7.1, we may suspend the service indefinitely and you will liable for any claims, damages, losses and costs (including legal costs) which we may encounter as a result of your abuse.

  8. 8. General

    If you give your Valuedial calling card to another person they will be subject to these terms & conditions.

    We shall not be responsible for any breach of these terms & conditions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

    These terms & conditions are subject to English law. We will always try to deal with any complaints or issues within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

    If you feel you still are not getting the correct answers to your complaints you can also refer any complaints that you may have with Valuedial to the Office of the Telecommunications Ombudsman. Please see www.otelo.org.uk for details of how to do this.

  10. 10. Referral Program

    Credit on a recommended account may not be purchased with any existing Valuedial user’s payment details.

    Valuedial reserves the right to refuse to award referral bonus if we suspect ifraudulent activity.

    Bonus credit will not be applied retrospectively.

    We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time or to remove any unused credit.

    When you import contacts we will only email them with your consent and at your request. We will not use these email addresses for any other marketing purposes, nor sell them on to any third party.

    If you wish to use paid advertising (eg. Google AdWords) with your referral link you may not use it as a landing page directly or via a redirect, and must instead create a page on your own site to encourage visitors to use your referral link. You may not bid on keywords containing our brand terms (eg. "valuedial", "valuedial.com", etc.) and may not include them in your ad text/graphics.

    In order to redeem your bonus as cash you must have a verified PayPal account.

    The username on the Paypal accounts must match the username on the Valuedial account in order to redeem the bonus as cash.

    Payouts will be done once a week on Thursday at 5:00pm GMT, requests for payout must be submitted by 3:00pm GMT on that day. Any request received after the deadline, will automatically fall to the next week.

    Valuedial reserves the right to refuse payout if fraudulent activity is suspected.

    All payments of bonus credit are final. No refunds or transfers will be issued.
